Yoga Mandir lecture series by Alan Goode 

A lecture series is presented on Friday night in week 5 of each term between 7.30-9pm.

Open to students enrolled in the school and those attending Yoga Intensives conducted in weeks 5 and 6 of term. Pre-enrolment via the school noticeboard is required. There is no cost.

Teacher training information evenings

Yoga Mandir hosts the training program conducted by Alan Goode. Applications for enrolment close on 15 November for the yearly intake of trainees. New trainees commence in January each year.

There will be two information evenings in the second half of 2009 for those interested in training to become a teacher of Iyengar Yoga. These evenings are held at the School in Canberra (Yoga Mandir) between 7.30-8.30pm.

Pre-enrolment teacher training intensive

For students considering an application to join the Teacher Training course conducted by Alan Goode in Canberra, a week long intensive will be conducted in the week: dates to be advised.

Intensives

In term 3 2009, the early morning intensive runs for one week only - 17-20 August, Monday to Thursday 6.30–9.00am.

Cost of the August intensive is $95.
Prior booking is essential. Book online via the 'prices & bookings' page.

The intensives are open to students currently enrolled in a Level 1, 2 or 3 Yoga Mandir course.

With negotiation, these intensives may be open to visiting Iyengar Yoga practitioners.

These two-and-a-half hour hour classes include Pranayama.

Attendance is from Monday to Thursday.

Residential retreat

The Karuna retreat will not run in 2009.

In January 2008 Alan Goode will be conducting a residential retreat in Karuna in the Blue Mountains. The retreat is suitable for general and experienced yoga students. Full details are on the website at alangoodeyoga.info
