This 75-minute class prepares students who are new to Iyengar yoga for participation in our Slow Paced and Foundation classes. If you are complete beginner or wish to go back to review the basics this single class is a perfect introduction to the subject, the school and its teachers.

Iyengar Yoga is taught with precision and alignment. Students are taught using this systematic approach where teachers demonstrate and describe each asana so that students can experience in their own body the effects. The instruction and coordination of linking body, breath and mind provides an experience of integration.
Over time, as students work in the school and across its levels, teachers will guide individuals in how to adjust their practice to greatest effect.
